After various roles at different practices (CA and CPA), I value teamwork and people. Therefore, it is imperative to be able to work with people I respect and share common values with. A happy working culture and environment will be reflective in the ways we strive to best service our clients’ needs and exceed their expectations.

In my view, what’s different about SUCCESS compared with other firms is …

The recent pandemic has taught us all the value of cloud-based software, in particular Xero, to help our clients not only survive the lockdowns but to come out stronger.

Success is always at the forefront of technology and cloud-based software thus enables us to work more effectively with clients. Every accountant is responsible and accountable for his/her high work standard and client portfolio. We treat each of our clients as a success story rather than just a number. If our clients are successful, then we achieve our goal of being SUCCESS.

We always strive to respond to client’s general inquiries within 24 hours and are willing to go beyond our current knowledge to seek solutions to our clients’ specific needs.

What I love about my role is …

My role as a client and tax manager empowers me to make executive decisions and be a full-time advisor to our individual, business, and prospective clients. My twenty plus years of experience also allow me to mentor our young budding accountants to always strive for the highest standard and ongoing training to equip themselves with the latest tax legislation and opportunities for clients.

Family and a balanced lifestyle are also important; thus, SUCCESS allows its employees the flexibility to enjoy both work and the valuable time to spend with family.

Outside of office hours …

With a family consisting of two young children, most of my Saturday involves chauffeuring my older daughter to her interschool sports and, at the same time, trying to fit in a fitness routine or two. As a person who loves all kinds of sports, I play tennis, blade, swimming, basketball, golf and have a casual kick of the balls with my younger son.

I also love water features, so I spend a lot of time setting up aquariums, outdoor ponds, and the odd gardening. As a family we love travelling, watching movies and dining out.

Something most people don’t know about me is …

I used to compete in Taekwondo at university and state levels. I am a Sydney Swans supporter, and passionate for sports cars.
