What I love about my role is …

Under the wings of two people, founder and owner Lan Nguyen and Client Business Manager, Harry Duong, who have practical experience in tax, wealth, and accounting. It gives me first hand strategies to help our individual and SMSF clients.

My passion is Self-Managed Super Fund (SMSF) and minimising tax. I am proud to be a part of this team, and it is a pleasure to provide exceptional service to our clients. My role is not like that of other accountants. It allows me to be a problem solver and not shy away from tricky or complex cases.  Being assertive and communicating directly. It allows me to enhance my knowledge when it comes to SMSFs but the more I learn, the more I understand that there is much still to learn.

Our expertise spans superannuation law and understanding savvy superfund strategies. From setting up funds to optimising tax-effective contributions, and even diving into using SMSF loans for property acquisitions, we have got your back!

Over the last 20 years, the number of SMSFs has grown rapidly and is now catching its breath. Self-managed super fund is no longer just the domain of the wealthy and mature cohort. The strongest growing sector is people aged 35–44 years old, and we are well positioned to help our younger clients navigate through building their superfunds with better tax and wealth planning advice.

Outside of office hours …

Beyond the spreadsheets, when I’m not crunching numbers, you’ll find me embracing family time.

Something most people don’t know about me is …

I love to travel to one of my favourite destinations, Venice. I confess that if I had a windfall, it would be to have a sabbatical around Tuscany and the Amalfi Coast to learn the language, enjoy the sunshine, drink fine wine, and eat delicious freshly caught seafood!
